How loud are turbofans?

Does anybody have some information as to how loud a typical turbofan is? I'm not really looking for anything specific, any type of engine, idle or full thrust, it doesn't matter.

All I can find is noise levels of aircraft on approach, but I'm after how loud they are when standing right next to one.
