P.C. Based stand-alone FMS simulations
Hey,
Where the heck can I get a stand-alone FMS simulationf for my laptop? I've looked everywhere and the only thing available is through Microsoft Sim 2000, I have absolutely no interest in that, just the FMS. Based on having looked everywhere, please let me know of the interest level for the above product as I may sponsor its creation and marketing. Horatio... |
CHS, you didn't mention the aircraft, so this is the only product I know about of the type you're referring to. It's for the 744.

I suggest you log onto their bulletin board and check compatibility with your laptop. It's a DOS program and a bit picky about sound cards etc.
It seems very good. You can select which airline you want it configured for and what engines you want. Strictly 747-400 though. Far too new-fangled for me I'm afriad. |
Hey !
Thanks for your help, you are right! Very advanced stuff, but looks like it will do what I want and that is to familiarise myself with the basic data entry format for the FMC ( all functions ) I understand that this format is very similar from type to type and so this program will be a great help. Thanks again. |
