Well guys I cannot but agree about the flaws in the NG autopilot having flown the -700 series.The main problem is above ~Fl 280 as it starts to 'chase' the speed.The only thing you can actually do is revert to vertical speed mode.
With regards to the post about noise in the cabin I cannot but differentiate because in my opinion it is a bigger problem with airbus as the flight crew have to use interphone to communicate in the cockpit in the initial phases of flight. It is also noisy on takeoff for passengers sitting in front of the wings. Oh well every aircraft has its flaws.
