some precision about the green V-DEV

Recently, I have been asked about the meaning or the ( different?) use of the GREEN vdev on A320.
After some enquiries, I got to know that this new color, instead of the well-known magenta one, was related to the 1.7 version of the DMC and concerning RNAV APP.

But some other info seemed to prove that the green color VDEV appears any time we performed a managed approach on this new version of DMC( the current version is 1.8 , I believe)

Can someone give me here an answer?

The usual meaning of magenta is "transferred from an (other) aircraft system, and+or self-derived target".
Green , OTOH, is "taken from a database".

Thus, for geometric VNAV it makes sense VDEV brick is green, just like the lateral line on the ND.

The change of colour is for consistency of visual language with the technology development.
