One drop an hour is not a big deal, as the amm will tell you.
Insert the gear pins (ALL of them please!) and select the gear up hydraulically, you will quite likely have a large increase in leak rate...

Remember this actuator is pressurized the entire flight (well as long as the gear is up).
The actuator has a spare seal, but swapping it out can be a handfull as the torque on the retainer is REALLY high.
Replacing the actuator at homebase will be the way to go, if current leak rate allows it to be scheduled.

The actuator is a heavy thing and at least a bucket and a half of skydroll will be headed your way after disconnecting.

Be safe, IFIX

One drop in 60 secs seems within limits but regular monitoring would be needed to identify an increase in leak or drop in qty.
The AMM will list the tolerences.

Do not take advice from any-one on a public forum - read the AMM. Keep safe !

That big cylinder on the gear that is leaking 1 drop per minute is actually the retract actuator, after the unlock cylinder "little one look up" locks the linkage over center the actuator has no significant pressure on it.

The upside to your delema is after you dump a hydraulic system gravity should lock the gear down so you can do an air turnback.

Wanna have some fun, pin the gear (all of them please), put the handle up and watch the actuator blow fliud all over the ramp.

Some of this is serious some humor, but all is for REFRENCE ONLY.
