BA Chief Pilot
 

Looking through the BA annual report, it details a lot about the management, but it does not mention anything about a Chief Pilot or a Director of Flight Crew.

Does BA have a Chief Pilot, and does it have a Director of Flight Crew?

Can these roles be merged into one?
Can one person do both roles?

BA has chief pilots for various fleets and bases.

I know that Colin Barnes used to be the Chief Pilot and Director of Flight Crew, so why do they not have one anymore?

Many other airlines have them.

Ah...well, perhaps the CC are in charge......:eek:

I think BA are a big fan of 'stream lining' anything to be more efficient in this volatile environment!
