Probs at LHR?
 

last night at about 2000hrs i was just leaving the terminal area of LHR and i saw 4 fire trucks, including one with a large 'cherry picker' arrangement, come storming through with the blues on. Just out of pure curiosity does anyone know what the call out was for? it was too early for the Virgin A340 incident (i think). I hope it was'nt too serious.........

VIR incident? Prey tell....

Taxi Mishap
 

all the VIR incident was when an A340 taxied off the end of one of the 27's that night. Closed the runway for a bit. People are saying different things, crew error, but its more likely to be that the taxi ways were sheets of ice.
