Linate, one year on

One year ago today, an SAS aircraft collided against a private Cessna at Linate, Milan.

118 people, passengers, crew and airport workers, lost their lives.

The Corriere della Sera reports that the families of the victims will be attending a ceremony of remembrance at LIN today.

My, and I'm sure the thoughts of all at Pprune, are with them.

Check also www.airnews.it of 09 Oct 02.It mentions the Ustica disaster,too.And guess what:the italian civil aviation is becoming JAR "compliant".What a would be a joke if it didn't kill the innocent.
