Has anyone else noticed that many of those airlines which have been laying pilots and other staff off this last year can afford to spend £X,000's on a new image / paint jobs excetera. Particularly those whom have a seasonal workload. No doubt they will again cry poverty at the end of the summer season when they layoff their short term (previously full time) staff.

Hmmmm.

Our Company is doing exactly the same, new livery, logos etc.
They wanted to freeze our increments earlier this year aswell !
They are still pleading poverty and refusing to enter pay negotiations.

It will all end in tears, just look at the BA tail fin fiasco:confused: :( :confused: :(
