Does anyone know when Ice Pilots NWT Season 3 will air in the UK? Or have I missed it?

I can't remember what channel it was on

It just says coming 2012 on the SKY TV website, can't remember what channel it was on though.

It was on Quest

And for a future series yesterday's ferry of 2 Buffalo Airwars CL215s through Prestwick carried a film crew - they departed to Nantes en route to Turkey. Going in the opposite direction today was the Plane Sailing Catalina, again with a film crew. It is going up to Iceland for Icelandair's 75th anniversary celebrations this weekend. All came and went in glorious sunshine.

I got a rather poor quality photo of the 2 CL215's overhead Birmingham yesterday afternoon.
I did wonder if they would feature in future series.

If anyone finds out when it's on in the UK, please post on here.

Good news to hear that they are working on more series.

Also in the mean time I have to say RIP Arnie Shreder. He seemed an absolute gentleman and one whom I would have been honoured to meet and fly with. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

I asked Quest a week ago via the "contact us" link on their website. They replied that they have no plans to show series 3 at present.

I e-mailed them and suggested it would be a fitting tribute to Arnie to show Series 3 sooner rather than later. Here is the response I got back:

Thank you for contacting Quest Viewer Relations.

There is still no plan on airing Ice Pilots series 3 on Quest.

I watched the first two series on DiscoveryHD. Hopefully the third series will be broadcast soon.

Discovery are showing Series Three starting on Sunday 9th December at 2100.:)

Excellent news! I've not seen any trailers for it yet, though, which is unusual for Discovery.

It makes you wonder what standards they set for their "Viewer Relations" if that is the brevity of response to a very reasonable suggestion concerning the recent demise of one of their "stars".

It will be better on Discovery as, hopefully, it will be HD.
