Looks like Jetblast has crashed and burned. Any chance of saving the 'Jokes' thread from the wreckage? There are some classics there which IMHO should be saved for the Nation! ;)

Totally agree with your actions Danny. Some of the stuff recently on JetBlast was a bit too much for this open forum.

However, seems a shame that all the good joke threads have been removed too (especially the limerick one).

Hears hoping that the jokes can be returned at some point, as they are one of the few things that keeps me sane these days.

I may just be that I am bullet proof, or perhaps I just havent read the offending discussions but I couldnt see what the problem was. (probably been reading too many of Slashers posts :))

As I said, you get my full support (its your forum, and we are all the better off for having it).

It's Danny's website, so big boss man does as he likes.....

.....however, I'd like to put my vote here for the jokes to come back. Esp the 'shhh...noise abatement' thread. We were all busy trying to work out who was winding us up.

Looks like 'woomera' will be moderator, so we'll all have to behave ourselves!

touch&go - JB was closed for some hours today by Danny. The straw that broke the back was a link in a thread that took you straight to a picture of a ladies genitalia.

I enjoy JB as much as anyone else. As does Danny. It has its place on PPRuNe.

However, none of the PPRuNe management wish to be associated with running a website that puts people 2 clicks away from porn. From my view as Wannabe Moderator I am sensitive to the fact that many PPRuNe BB visitors are legally minors...

JB is now back in full swing.

I have *No* idea why some people always have and continue to post messages about their own sexual practices. Personally I think its a bit sad and half the time I reckon its their lonely imagination running away with their keyboard - those of us actually nailing cabin crew are far to exhausted/distracted to spend hours typing about it for JetBlast...

PPRuNe is *the* most successful aviation bulletin board in the *world*. Moderation and editorial control is a fundamental part of that success. Let us all hope that Dannys shot across the bows is sufficient.

Firstly, I agree 100% with the banning of links to porn.
However, I note your comment about people discussing their fetishes etc on JB. You hinted that that is a bit sad. Here you are bragging about so called conquests of cabin crew? Not a great deal of difference really.
