Apparaently British controllers got a bit of a supprise, (I guess it would be in the fifties) when the French flew the Trident over the North Sea towards England at 1000 kts. No-one had been briefed it was going to happen, and I believe the controllers were trying to work what the hell was going on!

I flew with a pilot in Africa many years ago who experienced a frightening encounter, perhaps one of the same that you speak of. Do you have more details, I'd be interested to verify his descriptions of the event.

Once saw one point source of light divide into two and seperate exponentionally in speed North to South in Upper Blue 4!Mmmm , no aeros allowed there!Shiver down the old back material - one witness.

One other.New house recently.Early evening.Two lights,presumed Planets.One obviously was-(venus),but other started moving relatively to the East at above anything considered normal speed for any heavenly body.Bloody 'ell have I been chosen!

I believe in life out there but can they get here?I think not.Despite sightings like mine/others, an explaination must be evident somewhere. ........ Errr somewhere.
