Booking Diversions
 

Many moons ago when flying from A to B, I would book C as a diversion, either by phone or on the flight plan. Now as I operate into Europe regularly on a reasonably tight schedule, I often launch with a Diversion different to that submitted by Operations on the flight plan (and what's more I think a lot of others do the same)Should I still ask ops to 'book' my chosen alternate or is all this just accepted within the commercial environment?
Thoughts please.
