This is probably the wrong forum but I am sure it will get moved to a more appropriate one.
www.ud.com are hosting a system to allow scientists to use web surfers processors in the fight against cancer. If you visit the site and download a small application it will use your processors idle time to check molecules that can affect relevant protines.
carpet_rodent has set up a pprune team which has 8 members which is not very impressive when pprune has over 37000 members. So come on, lets see if we can help this worthwile project.

Hi I tried this via jetblast and ran the program successfully for a few months ...then it froze! kept sampling the same data for weeks on end .No response to my emails for help .IT IS A VERY WORTHY CAUSE but poor backup ! good luck I wish mine would "unstick" (three weeks same data stuck at 97%of task complete)
