Young or old ones.?

What do you all think about young vs. old Captains. Iīve had the opportunity to work with both, and I must say the younger ones are better in many ways. They really want to share the work with the RH guy/gal showing some nice CRM. Tell me what you think. ? By this I donīt mean to say there arenīt any good (old) Captains out there, because there sure are..!!

What do you all think about young vs. old First officers. I've had the opportunity to work with both, and I must say the Older ones are better in many ways. They really share their wealth of experience with the LH guy/gal showing some nice CRM. Tell me what you think ? By this I don't mean to say there aren't any good (young) First Officers out there, because there sure are..!!

Young Engineers are far better, they can be given all the nasty jobs nobody else wants and don't have the experience and confidence to tell me where to go when I've buggered them about.

That's why I only let the older Engineers near pilots if I have a choice. I reserve the right to make other engineers lives miserable, and consider attempts by pilots to do the same a severe lack of protocol.

Totally unrelated to the thread mind you, but just about as useful.

To me the best combination is an old ex-flight engineer as a captain and an slightly less old ex-flight engineer as first officer. This in combination with a C1 of about fourty with a proper drinking capacity and I'm ready for a three week round the world trip.

Young cabin attendants are better than either one...

What do you all think about young vs. old cabin crew. I've had the opportunity to work with both, and I must say the Older ones are better in many ways :) They really share their wealth of experience with the rest of the crew showing some nice CRM. Tell me what you think ? By this I don't mean to say there aren't any good (young) cabin crew out there, because there sure are..!! :) :)
