Did I see...?
A Ryanair flight landing at Hawarden on Thursday evening (or was it Friday?)? It was certainly headed in that direction with it's gear down. Anyone know why? Normally the only thing that big into Hawarden is the Beluga.
I suspect it was heading to LPL.
Doubt it, LPL was 180 degrees in the opposite direction unless he was seriously lost. This was definately heading for Hawarden, I'd just joined the M56 heading east at J16 and he came across heading roughly south south east which looking on a map lines him up with 23 quite nicely.
He wasn't lost and was with in 10 miles of LPL. Whatever he was doing my bet is it had more to do with LPL than CEG.
Maybe he had aborted his landing and kept the gear down to reduce the wear with it landing a few minutes later?
If Friday..... then a Privatair A319 on an Airbus Industrie flight?
Wrong colour scheme (unless their website shows the wrong paintjob). It was definately white with blue tail and a gold logo, hence me thinking it was a Ryanair.
