Dublin Issues

Hi

saw an Air Tanzania 737-200 take off from 16 in Dublin this morning, anyone know why it was there? I'm guessing it was a visitor in SR Tech ... but just asking.

Cheers

JAS

Air Baltic Dublin

Just seen fire crews et al following 737 300 to stand, anyone any clues ?

Captain Numpty 8th February 2008 13:09

An emergency of some type!?!?!

Mr.Brown 8th February 2008 15:16

As it hasn't hit the news, yet I'd say thats a big "clue" that maybe, now just maybe,it was a minor problem and the fire crew were just streching their legs as a precaution.

Fuelling with pax on board??

Phileas Fogg 9th February 2008 02:23

No transit pax travelling from Riga, via Dublin, to Riga!

Perhaps if Andrew M Charlton had continued 'seeing' then he would have established the reason and saved us the bother :)

andrewmcharlton 9th February 2008 14:28

Phileas, just reporting what I saw out of the window, don't suppose my EI flight would be able to just hang around pending resolution just to satisfy your thirst for no report or the full report in one go.
:ugh:
Given that this is a rumour neto=work if you're looking for the whole story perhaps you might like to cut and paste a similar response to everyone initiating a posting that doesn't give the complete story ?

Thoughts to the workers family.

When I walked by the accident site I could see a a piece of heavy equipment on it's side, looked like a heavy lifter of some description.

Condolences to all concerned.
