I'm sure it was nothing too serious and just a standard missed approach. Can't see it being South African at LGW (unless LHR was foggy!)

The most common reason is that the aircraft in front hasn't cleared the runway yet. There were certainly no weather problems today.

Light aircraft into LGW on 10th August?

Hi,

Heard from a mate who thought he saw a light prop arriving into Gatwick on Friday afternoon, 10th August.

I was told that it must have been a VFR flight as there was no such IFR flightplan for it.

I know it wasn't going to Redhill, and assuming it wasn't an emergency, does anyone have a reg, type or any other info?

Thanks.

John's B707!

Just in case it hadn't been spotted, noticed Travolta's B707, N707JT is at LGW at the moment! Not really in a good spot for pictures but you might get it with a zoom near the Travel Lodge in Lowfield Heath!!!
Cheers

Could someone please tell me what aircraft types Monarch tend to use on their Tenerife route from LGW in the summer (S08).

Thanks in advance

Could be pretty much anything! Most likely to be B757, but they sometimes use an A300 or A330, occasionally A321. Summer schedules start to kick in after the hour change next week, so if you have a particular flight number in mind, post it here and someone will soon give you a definitive(ish) answer!

Thanks for that info.

The flights in question:

LGW-TFS - ZB284
TFS-LGW - ZB287

The dates involved are 1st July (outbound) and 15th July (inbound).

Thanks in advance for any help

MON flights LGW

Hi again. The flights you're on are schedules which operate year round, and the current equipment is the A321. Can't be sure if it will stay that way until July though!
