Airlines view on Tattoos
 

What is the 'Airlines' view on tattoos upon ones body? I don't have any but I thought I'd see if they were acceptable in the aviation industry. I suppose whats out of sight won't harm...

Go for your blood group in your armpit...the part of the body most likely to survive a fire or mutilation

The airline I work for (easyJet) permit them providing that they are not visible in uniform. Therefore if you had a tattoo on your forearm, you would have to wear a long sleeve shirt. For girls with ones on ankles, they would have to cover them with a plaster etc.
