takeoff procedure B777

Hi

I have the following question regarding the use of trim during takeoff and climb on the 777.
Having the stabilizer trim set as per TAKEOFF page in the FMC, do you have to pickle the trim switches once you reach the airspeed of V2 + 10 kias to register it with the PFC ?
OR
Do you first pickle the switches only after reaching the acceleration height, when you clean up the aircraft and accelerate to 250 kias ?
In other words, does the t/o trim setting correspond to a stable climbout at V2 + 10 kias.

Last (but not least), how much pull on the control column is required to achieve the 2.5 deg/sec rotation ? Is the amount of displacement large or is a small nudge all that is required ?

Thanks

Adam

Hi

No need to trim until acceleration for flap retract.

typically a light rotation force required, maybe 2-3lb pull - very small displacement.
