Astraeus 757

On the LBA website in the news section there is a story on Astraeus. I could have sworn down that the boeing behind the Commercial Director is 757-200.

Well I can say there are 3 757's at LGW, with the possibility of a 4th in the new year. Generally though, AEU dont operate the 75's to Manchester, its normally all 737's.
Hope this clears things up.

:D

I'm sure I read that Astraeus were getting a 4th 757-200 and getting rid of a 737-300. I think the 757 was to replace a 737-700 at LGW which would then move to LBA to replace a 737-300 there ;)

Saw one of the 757's at Gatwick this morning during our 30 minute wait for a gate upon arrival from Florida!!

haughtney1 9th October 2005 21:41

Who had your gate Matty?

Map_Shift 9th October 2005 21:42

I wonder if Bruce struggles to pass the Class 1 audiogram?

ManofMan 11th October 2005 16:02

Just for info, Astraeus 757 G-OAVB just passed my office window inbound to Manchester for a wheel change i believe.

Cheers

haughtney1 11th October 2005 16:45

Might be more than a wheel change...its not due to leave till thursday morning.

:)

haughtney1.

Gate was occupied by an FCA757, Since FCA always use the same gate/gates we had to wait for him to pushback before our 763 could pull on.

We did arrive an hour early along with all the other transatlantic traffic due to a near constant 90-100mph tailwind, so LGW was congested to say the least!!

Regards.

I don't think so. He uses earplugs on stage.

Snigs 18th October 2005 11:52

I asked him about that last time I saw him, he said that he is partially deaf, but it's not in the frequency range that is important, so he has no trouble passing the audiogram.

I should think that's Jet2's new 757 if it's at LBA -

Nice to read that. It's pretty obvious that he's not deaf in the frequency range he needs to hear to sing as he does. :)
