Cuba Flight
Does anyone know what type of aircraft Direct Holidays use to fly to Cuba from Gatwick?
|
direct holidays are part of the mytravel group so will probably be on myt a330 or 767
|
Thanks diesel for your quick response.

Used it last year and it is indeed a 330. Strange seating config though.
3-4-3 if I recall. I usually go for the last 8 or so rows at the rear which are 2-4-2 Avoid the seats mid aircraft where the stairs go down to the toilet, always a lot of traffic around that area |
just an update on the seats. its 3-3-3 then at the back its 2-3-2 the 2 seats at the back are ok means you dont have any annoying neigbours. seat back tvs in all seats. thats on 330. if its on the 767 its 2-4-2 .. enjoy..

I bow down to your superior knowledge deisel.
My main interest, like yours is to get a seat near the rear. I must admit I was a bit disappointed on my first 330 trip, I seem to remember the Airbus slogan being "Fly Airbus, you are alwyas only one seat away from the aisle" certainly not the case in the 330. Anyone else recall that ? |
el grifo sorry hope i didnt come across wrong. only reason i know is i fly for them.. your right about the downstairs toilets around 3 doors does get busy and crowded especially after dinner and drinks..
|
No probs,deisel.
I took your comments in the manner they were intended, for sure. Cheers El G. |
Hi,
Your flight will be operated by an Airbus A330-200. Why don't you treat yourself and see if you can upgrade in to the Premiair Gold Cabin. Nevertheless, in economy, you still have your PTVs. External Camera's, Air Show, Moving Map, Multi Channels, Radio, Downstairs Toilets and the New Meal Service - and best of all; you get to fly on an Airbus A330! The configuration will be 3-3-3. Eh, apart from the 2-3-2 area at the rear that is. :hmm:
