Jersey Air Display
 

Has anyone heard about the Jersey International Air Display's Grand Summer Fundraising Ball? It's going to be held in Jersey (obviously) at the Hotel L'Horizon on Friday 8th July. It sounds really cool. Melvin Hiscock, Aviation Commentator and 1939 Clouster owner is the after dinner speaker. They have got two great bands for entertainment and dancing.

The raffle is huge and it includes flights in some interesting aircraft during air display week (which i think this year is around the 15th September). I have heard that there is definately a flight in a B17 and B25 up for grabs and rumour has it a flight in a fast jet. There is also an auction that includes a massive painting of the Red Arrows.

It should be a really special night. I'm certainly going to go!
