Air Namibia 2nd MD-11?

SW got its second MD-11, obviously another ex Swissair aircraft from the dessert.

Has anybody some details like S/N, owner etc? Thanks!

I recall that they want some A340 and will get it later this year from LH, any news on that? Thanks again!

Hi CheifT,

The second MD11 is indeed an ex-Swissair plane, but was meant for Varig. Actually it was delivered to them, but never entered service. Registration PP-VTV was reserved, but n.t.u.

c/n is 48453 ex HB-IWH, N37WF

Latest info I had was that she was still in Rio de Janeiro (Varig maintenance facility) all white.
