You missed off G-MANP. She is in at SEN for a calendar handback from 17th April. Handback occuring sometime mid May I think.

MANL is the last operational aircraft in Landor colours isn't it?

What are Loganair going to use instead?

Mark Lewis 13th April 2005 11:26

More Saabs are due shortly, one from France two from Oz I think?

DanielP 13th April 2005 12:51

Thanks.

Pity to see those ATPs go. Do Loganair still have MAUD?

skiddyiom 14th April 2005 06:48

Loganair currently have MANJ, MANL and MAUD.

They should all be gone by the end of July. This will leave MANE and MANF at SEN in storage. Their due return dates are Jan 2006 for MANF and April 2006 for MANE - unless we can find some mug (!) to take them off our hands!

You're quite correct about GMANP - sorry, but it dropped off the operational programme ages ago and has been in storage so didn't include it....

HZ123 16th April 2005 08:58

What a rum elderly group of aircraft. Several ATP's at Southend are going to new homes the latest being to Euroair of Greece.

skiddyiom 18th April 2005 18:48

Dash-7, you also forgot G-MANE & G-MANF which are lurking at SEN.

They are not due for handback until April/Jan 2006 respectively and as such still belong to BACX. Mind you, I can't see them going far in the meantime!

Got any good rumours about Embraer 170/190's for BACX?

When are the RJ-100s due to leave MAN?

BAe 146

Fried_Chicken 18th April 2005 21:41

Are BACX having problems with the RJ100s at the mo'? I noticed 146 GGNTZ subbing for an Avro 100 on a Birmingham to Frankfurt flight yesterday.

Also, not that long ago, 146 DAMGL was being leased in on a regular basis to operate flights out of BHX & MAN

No more problems than usual with the RJ's. Sometimes you have to substitute for a line casualty and you grab whats available.

We did have a problem, along with many others, regarding rehydrated de-icing fluid from somewhere in Europe. That has now been addressed and with luck shouldn't reccur. Especially as it put 8 RJ's off-line at one point!

However, thinks are back to what passes as normal in the Airline world.

Chelsea Rose departs

BACX Dash 8 G-BRYI ''The Chelsea Rose'' will be departing MAN for the last time (at least in BA colours) on Friday 22nd at 9.00 am bound for Exeter, ahead of it's long trip home to Canada!!

HZ123 20th April 2005 12:08

How come that we at BA have had what seems to be a number of nigling faults with RJ/146, when the likes of 'Flightline' have operated them (usually second hand ones) for at least 10 years with seemingly few problems, and some success.

Dash-7 lover 22nd April 2005 09:12

DH8 GBRYI delayed handback until Saturday afternoon 23rd April at 1400z due to long term unserviceability of GBRYU/GBRYV

142 GMIMA departs IOM for STN on Tuesday 3rd @ 1000z
141 GMABR departs MAN for IOM on Monday 2nd @ 1800z to replace GMIMA

ATP GMANL departs GLA for SEN on Sunday 01st @ 1300z

RJ100's due to leave MAN in November?

Other operators have had stiff control problems on their RJ100/146 fleet due to de-icing fluid. Eurowings/Swiss and Flybe all in varying degrees. Seems to be a problem due to slow climbout speeds and the anhedral wing. The slush isn't dispersing quickly enough and sliding down towards the ailerons (seems specific to this a/c type and shape)

Oshkosh George 22nd April 2005 14:07

and the dyhedral wing.
Think you mean ANhedral!

Dash-7 lover 23rd April 2005 06:38

Oshkosh George....

Whatever!! Must have been the engineers accent when he told me..... I forgot you're the fountain of all knowledge!!

Fried_Chicken 24th April 2005 23:01

I presume they are keeping GOINV for a bit longer then, noted this aircraft in Birmingham over the weekend rather than on it's more usual EGKK-EGPE stomping ground

Fried Chicken

rhythm method 25th April 2005 08:15

GOINV was only in BHX for a thorough cleaning of all control surfaces due to the recent spate of control restrictions on all RJ/146 types.

Hope that was tongue in cheek?!?!

Dihedral= up
Anhedral=down

Any modelmaker will confirm that .
