ANY pilot who can master the B707-138B (with its tail wagging parrallel yaw damper...OFF at 1000agl, like it or not, and many didn't:{ ) has an ace up his sleeve.

Many years ago was asked about flying this machine LGAT-KHOU and advised that they would be dry tanks by KFLL...and so they found out one year later..nearly. Landed with 3000 pounds remaining, and lucky to be alive.

As I found out here a few years ago, the Prince of Wales ran off the runway at Islay in a BAe-146 whilst going to get a 50th birthday ceremonial cask of Laphroaig. Hope John Travolta's luck is better!
