Taser is madness!
 

I think there are some really mad individuals in the world - escpecially American business people!

Taser International executives were to meet yesterday with the Transportation Security Administration hoping to convince the agencies non-lethal weapons are safe and effective for pilots. While the decision rests with DOT, its security agency, TSA, has resisted allowing airlines to arm pilots, and Taser officials have been making the rounds on Capitol Hill seeking congressional support.


Personally I liked the one about how Cockpits, were more able to withstand bullet damage, than too much electricity from a taser. What a fantastic argument! I hope I never have to find out which it true!

So the pre-T/O call is:

- Mobile phones and other electronic devices off.
- TASAR fully charged?

Oh well, never let common sense get in the way of a good sales opportunity.

The manufacturer claims the taser will not effect electronics. In our taser training it is fired into a sheet of aluminium foil which then does a pretty good simulation of a full blown lightning strike. Won't effect electronics Eh!!!
