Just one small aside here: spotters/photographers of aircraft generally do not want people of any description in their shots. Tends to differentiate them from the "paparazzi"....!! |

It clearly states UK laws; the airport is private property. Quick google . . . . . Quote: In the UK, the laws does not prevent photography from a public place. However, airports in the UK are private, either in full and/or on land which is considered private property. See Legal restrictions on Private property. The only reason I posted was to add balance and highlight that the incident took place on private property in an area clearly signed as restricted for photography. NOTE restricted not banned.
