AeroLogic Flightnumbers
 

Hi there,

I noticed that some AeroLogic flights have LH Cargo flightnumbers when they normally operate with BOX flightnumbers. I am aware that AL is a LHC spin off but I would be glad if someone could explain the difference between the flights. Are LH number flights operated by LH crews?

i'd hazard a wild guess and say the Aerologic plane gets wetleased to Lufthansa.

that means it's still Aerologic crew operating the airplane, they just fly on behalf of Lufthansa.

3S mainly operate for DHL Express during the week between Leipzig and Asia using BOX numbers. On the weekends they operate mainly for Lufthansa from FRA globally, as these are specifically for LH they use LH flight numbers. The same cannot be done for DHL.
