Lightning strike GVA

Exceptional Lightning impact striking a plane (during its descent into Geneva Airport) and lake Geneva. The impact occurred at 20 h16 specified the 31/05/17 during a very low in electrical activity and.
It was the only impact of lightning on the lake during this storm.
My Season 2017 starts beautifully well and I hope this is just the beginning!!! :)

It looks like a very weak negative strike. Not that I would particularly like to be inside that plane either way!

I was trying to find out which flight this was, but cannot find a way in FR24 to find arrivals by date/time

QATAR Airbus A350-9 A7-ALI, just to the east of Rolle at FL070.

If it was anything like one we had in a TriStar, 'kin great BANG!
Arthur Whitlock refers to it in his book 'Behind the Cockpit Door'; I was his FO.

p.s. Other than noise, no problems.

Strangely enough the only strike I personally witnessed (as pax) was in a Tristar (LTU), over the mountains on the descent into FAO. All I can remember hearing was what I thought was thunder.
