Heli v Drone (plus special effects)
Just saw this video, couldn't work out the best place for this post so sticking it here.
https://www.facebook.com/CooranbongR...2436314800132/ Yes, I get that there are special effects involved but think it could be a good TV advert to raise awareness of the danger of drones v aircraft  |
Except that, like EVERY accident or crash in that wretched programme, it was overblown and overdone. How long did that A109 take to come to a stop once it was on its side?
|
All rigged for a poor UK TV programme (Casualty?). I don't think awareness is required; this publicity is good enough to tempt the idiots.......

For a little comic relief, check out the text on this Youtube video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0n1aXklYr0
" The aircraft was coming into land at Birmingham Airport when the pilot recognized the gadget drifting at a similar height. The DH8 turboprop air ship was assessed to be around 1600ft from the automaton, the UK Airprox Board (UKAB) said. Police were educated of the episode - on 7 September a year ago - yet were not able find the automaton or its administrator. Staff at the school were cautioned about the nearness of the automaton, the report said. It was hazy what number of travelers were on the plane. The close miss report finished up: "The automaton administrator ... had flown the automaton into strife and had jeopardized the DH8 and its travelers." It was one of seven close misses amongst airplane and automatons in the most recent month to month UKAB report. Previous British Airways pilot Steve Landells has cautioned that an automaton hitting a plane could bring about an uncontrolled motor disappointment. Priests are thinking about obligatory enlistment for new automatons in an offer to get serious about careless clients. " |
