Unmarked 767 at LGW
Anyone know what the plain white 767 that is often at Gatwick is doing?
I saw it on the 4th June parked at LGW and then at Bodrum on 18th June. Is it Abramovich's one? |

100-seat business-class for charter http://www.planespotters.net/Product...orporation.php One of the more 'promiscuous' 767s around, been through the hands of many operators and a couple of governments. |

Think that took the England squad to the last World Cup, comments wee made on her about it positioning out of manston, even though it had closed down
|
That was indeed a curious happening at Manston, but no doubt legal and above board. It also did the curtailed Rolling Stones tour for a few sectors. I wonder how a non EU registered plane can be effectively based and be available for charter in the UK/EU ?

Aircraft is insured in the UK and operates on a [ South African-issued ] world-wide Part 121 AOC. AOC is CAA/N796D.
I see that Titan and Saxon, amongst others, hold UK worldwide AOCs; I assume this is something harmonised at the ICAO level? Directors are both South African nationals. |
Thanks for replies.
I wonder what it was doing in Bodrum? Maybe Kate Moss had gone for more 'treatment' and decided it would be more comfortable than Easyjet? I wondered about Abramovich as I understand his 'Gin Palace' was in Bodrum recently. |
Didnt the Chelsea Football team use that 767 to go to Oz recently..I think it was that one..not sure tho! Maybe that was why it was here when they came back.
