REQ: airline operator codes/designators
I have previously accessed Eurocontrol's website database to search for airline operators 3 letter codes/designators.
eg NJE = Net Jets Europe; BAW= British Airways etc. But I can no longer find the link on their site. :( Can anyone help with a shortcut? ;) |
Try this eigjb. Airline and airport codes.
Airline Codes :: Find every airline code in the world AGP |
To be honest, when I need to check one quickly I just google it. For example if I want to check NJE I just google "ICAO NJE" and you have it in an instant.

The site you were using it was this one:
https://extranet.eurocontrol.int/htt...nt/indicators/ However when the above one is out of service, this one here its also updated monthly and very accurate: (also drinks data daily from ICAO DOC8585) https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/publ...bs/CNT/3-3.htm Hope it helps :ok: |
Many thanks JanetFlight.
The US DOT site works fine. The Eurocontrol link no longer works - gives a "Service unavailable" message. |
Thanks for the FAA linky, much more browsable than the ( still hiding ) Eurocontrol site.
Always interesting how imaginative some operators are in creating RT callsigns versus others. I'm sure no controller is grateful for AEROEJECUTIVOS, ANIMAL FLIGHTS or BRA-TRANSPAEREOS. Whereas GHERKIN, BADLANDS and BARBIE are catchier. |
Or Belgium Jetair-Tui "BEAUTY" :)

EXH = Batman, that'll always be my favourite although "Rockband" (JNY) is
A new favourite too. |
EXH = Batman...i still prefer the old one...ALIEN :ok:
