Shack over Buffalo NY.?
Evenin' All
Just checked in to a hotel in West Seneca NY and as I pulled in to the car park I saw a Shackleton overfly me. Does anyone know to whom it belongs? I stopped the car and listened to the sound....Mrs EW thinks that I have lost my mind!:ok: |
Not possible, no airworthy Shaks. Possibly a B-24 Liberator?

Shack over Buffalo NY West Seneca is only a few miles from the Canadian border and about 75 miles as the crow (or Lancaster) flies from C-GVRA's base at Hamilton. http://www.planes-international.com/...M-131007-1.jpg |
HD et al......I thought that were no Shacks left airworthy......but the ONLY one of two surviving Lancasters.......I am normally not that lucky.:)
Fabulous noise .....made my day ......off for a wine gum :) |
I understand that one's crossing the pond in August.
