In a way that video insults the guys who had the uphill struggle to get the beast into reality, and I bet it's still not that easy!

I don't think it's meant to be taken literally.

I'm sure it takes at least a couple of hours to assemble one in real life.

It's Mama, the Dreamlifter, sure is one of the fugliest things ever to take to the skies:eek:

A30, what a very peculiar idea. It's no more insulting than the films depicting long journeys by steam train being condensed into a couple of minutes insult the skills of the drivers and firemen. It is an interesting way of showing how the aircraft is put together without people having to stand around for hours on end.

Sorry l am sure it must of been photo shopped together, as it shows blue sky in Seattle. :E

When it is towed out of the assembly building it has concrete blocks hanging from the engine pylons but when it is pushed into the paintshop it has engines!:=

Oh man now the whole experience is ruined - well spotted - total CSI moment.

Noah Zark. 19th Nov 2012 14:24

It's a disgrace. The thing is just thrown together!

Geezers of Nazareth 22nd Nov 2012 20:07

Missed a golden opportunity ... should have made the film last 13 minutes and 7 seconds.

It must have been "Mufti" day. The lack of uniforms on the people fitting out the inside was suprising. Even someone in shorts.

I like those really mobile dangle platforms - can remember when they used to use builders scaffolding!

DIBO 9th Dec 2012 13:34

No wonder they hadn't time to install these fuel-lines properly :)

EEngr 9th Dec 2012 16:32

Judging by the number of a/c parked at Everett for rework, they should have taken more time. At least 5 minutes per.
