Helo over Dungeness
 

About 19:00 last night a helo was buzzing around the Dungeness area with a couple of fixed wings a distance away. From where I was it was difficult to tell if the the helo was working with the other aircraft. Can anyone enlighten me as to what, if anything, was going on out of Lydd last night?

May have been something to do with Olympic intercept preporation if not prob just a helo playing at the range.

Dependent on the weather and light there is a company which offers flights in a helo acompanied by either a Spit or by a Spit and Hurricane which formate round the helo. This has not been running for very long but is proving very popular especially for air to air photography as you don't get many chances like that! They do most of their trips in the area of the White Cliffs so it might be possibly them.
