BA Open Skies at TFS
Just saw a BA Open Skies 757 landing at TFS / GCTS at 12:55z anyone know why?

The only 757 Flightstats have showing is a Tommy Cook from Brum.

Yeah I already had a peek there. I can assure you it was BA Open Skies. However it would be way off it's usual routes for it to be a simple diversion... Hence me being curious!

Screening out the codeshares on Flightstats (and remembering they are on GMT unlike mainland Spain) ... there is nothing between a Ryanair 73 from Valencia at 12.41 and the Tommy Cook 75 from Brum due in 10 mins at 13.47.
They seem to have lost a couple of German TUI 73 s in the meantime, due about a half hour ago. When you say "Open Skies" you mean the all premium BA brand, so it may well be a charter. Maybe somebody with serious money and not enough space on his Gulf 650 is bringing his mates over to Golf del Sur for the weekend ? Photos: Boeing 757-230 Aircraft Pictures | Airliners.net |
Afrim that is the one I mean... The spin off from the main BA brand. Strange it does not show up anyway. As freighters and charters of that sort normally do.

This was flight BOS500 from Paris Orly on aircraft F-HAVN. Not a scheduled flight as no record of previous flights under this callsign appear on spotter sites. As previously suggested, presumably a charter which Open Skies are doing these days.

EC operate 3 B757s with one usually spare for ad hoc charters.
