AerLingus Near CFIT/stall
Hi chaps, just wondering if anyone heard anything about a near CFIT into Kerry and a stall going into cork by aerlingus? I didn't know that they flew to Kerry so it may be an Aer Arann. It was posted on another aviation website but has since been taken down.

If that post has been taken down, that would indicate that the information was not factual?
|
Or that AL can afford very good solicitors :D

Well time will tell. Word going round is that the IAA and AAIU are treating this seriously. It seems that it may have been AerLingus Regional in both incidences, which doesnt bode too well after the hull loss last year in shannon.
|
Im sure it will be posted on the AAIU website like all other incidents after the investigation, if there was an incident. Untill then it would be wise to keep your speculative opinions to yourself.
|
Hull loss? Has it been written off? Where did you hear that? Another aviation forum?
|
AAIU is NOT aware of any such incident.

Sounds like yet another non event tale from towelnose.....:p

I'm inclined to agree Topspotter. It appears to be a towel setup for having a swipe at Aer Lingus/Aer Lingus Regional.

Aer Arann Not Aer Lingus
Without "giving" too much away.
RE next sim sessions WILL include false LOC capture into Kerry with all the cofuffel of Shannon Atc ringing Kerry Apt. And departure from Cork will include Power setting of 75 per cent in Icing Conditions following by left circuit and allowing flap pitch up to activate the "shaking thing" Good Learning Sim Session. |
