Who is behind (US) Flight level 390?
I regularly read a blog called flight level 390 -
It is written by an American line pilot (Captain). I found it via the Google Reader facility. I would like to leave or send some feedback to the blog but do not see any way of doing that. It is well written and often interesting. Any ideas? |
Numbawan,
At the end of each posting there's a "comments" link on the right hand side. Click on that and you'll see previous comments and a window in which to insert your own. Good Luck and HNY! broadreach |
level 390
Thanks for info but I think you are referring to the comment page within pprune.org -
This particular blog is not in pprune.org its shown in google news reader- I do not see anywhere you can add a comment - only indicate like or dislike. HNY |
Click on 'comments' at the bottom of the page, and a new screen appears with a comments window.
|
As far as I can see you cannot post a comment on the RSS fed version that you see on Google Reader. You need to go directly to the blog via its url.
Clicking out the comments tag at the end of each post will allow you to post a response. pp |
Just checked the site out and you can indeed comment when visiting the URL directly.
There is a little info on the author also, albeit not much: Blogger: User Profile: Captain Dave |
As Stu says, Just go directly to the ******** and you can comment there ..
Have to agree with the op, it's a excellent blog, full of useful information and Captain Dave has a lovely way with words. Always an interesting read, his love of his work, and aviation in general is a joy to read. :D |
re Captain Dave
Thanks guys - excuse my "thickness" I finally got the real URL .
Indeed he writes well - clearly - not a "recent" graduate - :D I have let him know I am a fan. |
Hi,
is it me, or is the account gone away? flightlevel390.********.com doesn't deliver any pages here, just a "log into ********.com" page... Regards, Peter |
Hi,,
update: The site seems to be available again. blog spot seems to have som redirection problems these days... Kind regards, Peter |
Seemed to be a temporary glitch as it is working ok for me again also.
|
Just browsing some old bookmarks and noticed the blog is gone. Anyone have any info?
|
Noticed it was gone this morning, it must be very recent as I was only browsing it the other day. Would be a shame if it's been deleted by the author as it was always a cracking read.
|
Still offline,
anyone here that happens to be in the know? Cactus pilots? |
Is it Goodbye Captain Dave?
