German Corner
OK I give up.
If given the auspicious routing to German Corner.....How do you navigate to it from where you are? |
German Corner= KRH radial 270 12Nm
|
Thnx for the expeditious reply.
How might this be keyed into the FMGC as an overfly point? Can you input VOR radial DME fixes? Sorry for the naivety. |
Well, for a Honeywell FMS, fo example, just imput
KRH/270/12 Probably more or less the same on others. |
I'm impressed with the seeming simplicity of it all. Really then, if you had a mind to it, and bags of pre-flight time, you could ostensibly 'shave off' miles from your flight-plan route!
|
If I remember correctly the fix ABKUT is about the same position.
|
True TOM, ABKUT = German Corner
|
Thanks chaps.
ABKUT N48 59.0 E008 15.0 Why not call it KORNR? No imagination whatsoever. |
If you key the co-ordinates into Google Earth you will see at seven 'o' clock what looks like half a VOR.
Maybe they have decided to give German Corner an update! |
