Seaplanes in London

Hey all,

Randomly searching the net (instead of studying....) and came across this article Seaplanes to fly once more - Telegraph from 2007.

Anyone know if AirSea Lines plans to come to UK are or are likely to ever happen? Last I checked their website was down for maintenance. Would be fantastic if they did come to London!

That solves that one then!

There are a few people trying to get something like this up and running in the uk but it is early days.

If you fancy a seaplane ride Loch Lomond Seaplanes offer trips from the Clyde in Glasgow in a 9 passenger Cessna 208.
I did one in June,45 minutes,down river past Dunoon and Rothesay,up Loch Fyne and across to Loch Lomond.
Highly recommended if you are up this way.
