Lightweight Headset - Which one?

Can anyone recommend the best brand and model lightweight headset? Also, which company has the best deal? It needs to be compatible with the 742 audio system. Thanks in anticipation :)

Pop, standard fare seem to be the usual uninspiring Telex or Sennheiser.

Sony used to make two very impressive looking lightweights which are unavailable in Europe as far as I know, but may still be found( at huge cost) in some US specialist outlets, range now discontinued so spares likely to be not available.

All I have found that looks useful are a couple of models by Plantronics which both feature an "in ear" ie plug in earpiece with either a headband/specs mounted mic or a sort of hook over ear module like a hearing aid. Headset Services advertise in Flight Intl and supply at sensible sounding prices.

I have tried none of these myself.

Telex is the best one I have tried.
They run about $50.00 without the boom mike.
On my third Telex now. They last about 4-5 years of heavy use.
Very comfortable.
