Vulcan at SEN
Hey all,
After reading reports about the Vulcan taking to the skies again, are there any plans for the Vulcan at SEN to do just that? I can't recall ever watching the Vulcan from my very own eyes, so as a full-on spotter i am very keen to see this iconic aicraft in the air and especially if it lives at my local airport! |
It's eaten up all the money that can be raised getting that one back in the air! I assume it must have been the best one available.
Go catch it. Unbelievable. I was at Fairford many years ago when an RAF Vulcan did an aerobatic display. I stopped in my tracks and watched mouth agape. I have never seen anything like it in the air in my life. Extraordinary sight I will never forget, and one hell of a design and one hell of an aeroplane. Mind you the display pilot must have been a total lunatic, but was he goooood! |
location, location . . . . . . . ?
especially if it lives at my local airport! typo in your details up on the left side there ! Location is given as Southend, which corresponds with EGMC, and also agrees with SEN in the thread title . . . . . . . . . . . . . but after a little looking up I discovered that SNC is actually the code for SALINAS airport, in the South American Country of Ecuador ! |
