Emirates 747?????
http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...d/DSC02372.jpgTook this photo going head to head with a 1000ft separation and am intrigued by the Emirates logo on the belly. Sub contracted or a 'real' Emirates???

It's the real thing, on all the big jets now
Think its a freighter
If it is advertising I hope they aren't paying too much for it :}
If I am correct it's a 747-400F leased from Atlas Freight, can't remember the leasing time though.
Any possibility it is an A340-500 ? (engines look too large to be a A340-300)...... just a thought.
Deffinatly a 744F like Pedalz has already said, and is leased from Atlas and still carrys the N regerstration.
Deffinatly no an A340, the fuselage is to wide. Nice shot btw :ok: |

Hi, think this may be the same big bird, landing on a very hot day in Dubai, november 07, Reg possibly N437MC ? Keith.

These should start going back to Atlas once Emirates' own 747-8Fs (10 in total) start arriving in 2010.
I believe that they have leased a B744F (OO-THC) from TNT too.
