Reg Info
Hi,
Does anyone know the reg of the nwa DC10 operating flight NW44 from MSP tonight arriving into LGW tomorrow morning? Thx |
Lots of info on the net for this flight NO REG though - Sorry :(
You could try www.openatc.com but you may have to wait until its maybe just an hour away tomorrow. Personally i have always struggled with this site, as flight numbers can be a bit hit and miss. Registartions are shown on this site. The flight can be "live" tracked at http://flightaware.com/live/flight/NWA44 loads of info, excluding the reg :ugh: Cheers Jamie |

Thanks Jethro & all,
That was just what I was looking for. Do any of you know anywhere I could find info about the technical records of these old ladies,in particular, their involvement in causing massive delays due to technical unservicabilities whilst with AMM & XL/ADB? Thanks in advance Pontious. |

Qatar airways A300-600R
Hello all!!
Anyway, I would just like to clear something up, and if anyone can help me that'd be great! So, I have recently returned from Sri Lanka with Qatar airways and flew from the departure from Barajas to Doha-Columbo on one of their seemingly old Airbus A300-600R aircraft - Which was nice, but definately fell behind their A330-200 that I flew on from Columbo to Doha on the return leg. I would like to trace this history of this aircraft, but sadly I do not have the registration, and only have the flight number of her which is QR 68 Also, maybe I could get some reaction on what the A300 is like to fly?? Thanks, Scarebus |

Anyone know the history of the above a/c? I have some pictures of it looking forlon and sad in Addis Ababa.
Thanks, The Cav:cool: |
I think this is a 1977 vintage ex Gulf Air via Aerolineas Argentinas, but stand to be corrected.

Boeing 737 21356/496
A40-BD Gulf Air July 1977 to May 1994 EI-CKL Air South (USA) Aug 1994 to Mar 1998 LV-YIB Aerolineas Argentinas Mar 1998 to Jul 2001 N213MT dealer 5Y-BPI Regional Air (Kenya) Nov 2001 to Oct 2004 (in BA livery) dumped at Addis Ababa Oct 2004 In passing I saw it at Savannah, Ga. one evening in 1996 in Air South service. It was VERY unusual for an aircraft in US domestic operation to be registered overseas like this one was for years. |
Ex Air Madrid MSN054?
Hello all!
There is a rumour over on airliners.net that the ex Air Madrid bird MSN054 will be returning to her original operator, Aer Lingus. 054 joined the Aer Lingus fleet in April '94 as the first Aer Lingus airbus, setting the trend for future EI fleet operations. She flew with the airline for several years under the reg. EI-SHN. However after a bad year in 2001 with union troubles, a 80% drop in the number of T/A booking (which provided 60% of the airlines revenue), foot and mouth, downturn in the world economy and then throwing 9/11 on top of it all, Aer Lingus was pushed to the edge of existance. However after some quick thinking and a bit of elbow grease, the airline returned to profiablity, as a low cost point to point carrier. In the middle of it all EI T/A services took a hard hit, with EWR and BWI getting the axe (with BWI eventually returning the next year), and with 054 being returned to her leasor. She found life with Air Algerie and Air Madrid. With the latter now having collapsed a new home is being looked for, for their remaining aircraft. Apparently 054 is waiting for a repaint so she can return to the EI fleet under the new reg. EI-SFO. Can anyone here enlighten us to some information on the matter? Any comments appreciated, Thanks! |
Ever consider a career as an Indo aviation correspondent?
|
Or even a few basics in the question, maybe even which model of Airbus is being discussed ?
|
joined the Aer Lingus fleet in April '94 as the first Aer Lingus airbus |
Is that a "type" ?
So is it A320 number 54 being discussed ? or an A300 ? |
A moot point of semantics not relevant to this thread. I have edited your post to clarify your query.
