737 NG Yoke
 
Why are there 2 trim buttons on the top left of the 737 yoke or for that matter other Boeing type yokes? Probably a dumb question but what the heck, I'll ask it anyways..

so that if you bump one of them, you don't trim it. they both have to be pushed in the same direction for the circuit to be made. it's not only the boeing that has it like that
