LH A300 at FRA
Was at FRA over the weekend and noticed what looked to be an LH A300 miles out of the way past the south (ex. US Military) apron, past a possible firefighting aircraft.
Just wondering if anyone knew why it was there (engine tests???) and whether all that area has now been claimed back by the airport from the US? I notice (since the last time I was at FRA) that one of the US Hangars now says "Mission Complete". Hmmmm. |
I think it is D-AIAX the A300 that was leased by Hapag LLoyd last year from Lufthansa and now in short term storage......
I noted it in the position you decribe in late January! Hope this helps CW |
