Ryanair -200 Malaga 14.11.04

Saw and heard a Ryanair -200 departing AGP yesterday morning quite early. This likely to be a normal occurance or diverting from Jerez or SVL?

DW11 15th Nov 2004 10:27

Quite normal, as Ryanair have been operating DUB-AGP for years as a charter and now as scheduled.

AVIACO 15th Nov 2004 10:46

Thought they mainly used the -800 into AGP?

ALLDAYDELI 15th Nov 2004 10:52

I was under the impression that all the -200s + spares had been sold. When will the last RYR -200 be withdrawn, anyone know?
Obviously not gone yet then,,,,

ratarsedagain 15th Nov 2004 11:28

There was one up in EDI last wednesday, so still around then!

Still loads at Gatwick. Nearly every DUB service is still a 732.

Yes,the deal has been done, but still another year(IIRC) before the last one departs.

Several being parted out at Prestwick at the moment.

cloudskimmer 15th Nov 2004 20:16

still at leeds too

witchdoctor 16th Nov 2004 10:45

Must be at least a dozen 200's still operational according to the weight and balance info supplied to ground handling agents, though this is a considerable reduction on the numbers of a/c on the last update.

Dub - CWl is a daily 732

Only the deep scoured ones are being parted out...which were the ones withdrawn from service when the problem was discovered.

Oshkosh George 19th Nov 2004 19:23

Well, they've all been sold to the same outfit, which sounds very much like a parts business. Sorry, can't recall the name.

Trislander 20th Nov 2004 16:13

Still coming into BOH now and then, although a marked increase in the number of flights being operated on the 738.

FLYboh 21st Nov 2004 15:51

The daily DUB - BOH is a series 200. But obviously this will change by next Christmas. In certain ways it will be sad to see them go. Heard today that EAC are probably going to replace their 200's soon. So 2005 could be the last year of the 200's at BOH.:(

DUBXH 3rd Dec 2004 16:53

Boeing B732-200 fleet has been sold to Autodirect Aviation (USA). Disposals between Nov 04 - Dec 05

Some Boeing B737-200's have been withdrawn early due to skin cracks/scratches following their last re-spray.

All in all 19 -200's still on the books and most if not all are DUB based. EI-CJD had AOC retracted and can be seen being towed from FR hangar to stand and vice versa at least once a day. Going to miss the Jaguar as noisy as it is... :o/

time please 3rd Dec 2004 16:55

Can confirm all 200's are at DUB, they are being replaced by the 800's think there is one in there already but by the end of next year, they will be gone.
