Question China Southern A380 en route to SYD (28 Feb) - why?

Right now there is a China Southern A380 - # CZ325 - REG B-6137 flying from Guangzho to Sydney.

The arrivals board at SYD shows 11 international flights arriving today (including CZ325).

Current arrival passenger caps into Sydney are 430 per day, thus around 39 pax per inbound aircraft.

Does anyone have any knowledge or ideas of why CZ would choose to fly an A380 for ~39 pax?

It isn't for cargo as 777 has more belly capacity than 380 (and far less fuel burn)

Thoughts?

They’ve been flying an A380 on weekends for about the last 6 months. Small loads coming in, large loads going out is my guess..

I've seen OA arrive in Oz with 4 PAX on a 742. I've seen 74F's departing empty. The reason for both, amongst other things, is that the opposing flight is where the $$$'s are. Besides, perhaps they need to keep the recency up for the Crews, perhaps it's a subsidised flight. Any number of reasons, but nothing that would suggest getting the tinfoil hat out again.

They’re bringing in Chinese soldiers that are waiting in the tunnels that were cleared of all the children during the Melbourne lockdown. Once everyone has the vaccine and the 5G mind control towers are turned on, Dan Andrews (who is actually a CCP plant) will give the go ahead for the Chinese troops to begin the invasion.

returning now, only one other 380 flying Asiana air, seems like a strange routing Seoul to Miyazaki. Triangular flight path. HL 7626

No need for tinfoil hats.
And no need for Chinese soldiers. The Chinese have enough people in places they want already. What do I mean.

well there have been numerous reports of Chinese university students being pressured by Chinese agents. That is do what we want or your family back in China might get a visit.

this has been happening for over a decade, and with the number of Chinese students we get each year, it is no stretch to say there would be at least one Chinese operative in every company and state and federal government department that China has any interest in.

and we have already seen plenty of evidence of Chinese influence on politics here. You know that suitcase with $100k cash in it passed over to nsw Labor in that Chinese restaurant. And Shanghai sam.

banks, telecom, IT, infrastructure,

and no, this is reality. So tinfoil hat me all you like.

Its for outbound loads - Chinas rules are 70% of aircraft capacity on 1 flight per week. Its been running full for months.

China just seems to do what ever they want, and everyone seems to scared to stop them. I still want to know, which idiot thought it was a great idea to lease the port of Darwin to them for 99 years.
