Thanks, I assume M1 is also accompanied by extras.

IL-76 heading south over Farnborough. All I glimpsed was a contrail through the trees.

There's a C17 due into LHR this afternoon apparently. I find it mind-boggling just how many C17 and C5 that have been needed to transport the various elements of the US interests to the UK in the last week or so, to perhaps 6 airfields that I know about, I'm sure there are more. Hopefully no-one will be discussing climate change at the G7! ;-)

Air Force 1 is airborne and making its way over eastern US. Working out how long it takes to land at Mildenhall, likely to be around 22:00/23:00 this evening. Couple of KC-135's lingering over Norway with "DEECEE" callsigns.

Reach 142 apparently, on its way from Ramstein now. Looks like it's doing the usual Belgium-avoid route, so presume it'll come in via Lambourne rather than Biggin.

Speaking of Belgium-avoid, another C-17 has just come up over Sussex and looks like it's heading into Brussels.

I had Air Force One on a routing of ~7hours from Andrews to Mildenhall, routing in via Honiley - which hopefully means it passes directly overhead Chez LTS about 20 minutes before landing. It appeared to depart around 1pm BST but disappeared off ADSB Exchange as it headed out over the Atlantic. That would imply landing some time around 8pm, and i'll be on the lookout around 7:30pm.

Here's hoping it reappears once it gets back over land!

An hour or so behind AF1 is an E4B (GRIM99), interesting callsign.

Hi All….With regard to the Potus visit to the UK,so far 31 C-17 movements have been logged that I know about, although some airframes have made several trips! Alongside that there have been the KC-130,MV-22 and VH-3 moves.
Potus is due into Mildenhall on AF1,(82-8000), around 19-20. Before that SAM46,(C-32 09-0016) should arrive around 18-50.
E4B Nightwatch “Grim 99”,(74-0787) is currently following the above…..the flight plan seen for this has it coming up over Cornwall then east towards Farnborough and ends at Ockham! However the E-4B is flightplanned into Mildenhall for 21-30,so the assumption is being made that it will “hang around” while Potus travels from Mildenhall to Newquay! AF1,(B747), is apparently staying at Mildenhall for the duration of this visit and the Mildenhall-Newquay-Heathrow-Mildenhall sectors will be done by AF1, but using the C-32!

Another interesting sighting that some may get to see are B-52s transiting over southern UK either west to east in the mornings or visa versa in the afternoon evenings! These are aircraft currently deployed to Moron,Spain and are on “Baltops” missions,(Baltic operations), It is assumed that they are not permitted through French/Belgian airspace and so they route up through the Bay of Biscay and over the southern edges of the UK. On Monday, one of the returning missions routed over Dover, then Heathrow then over Salisbury before turning southwest…all at around fl250…. Today, they clipped the southern parts of Sussex/Kent outbound and apparently returned over central southern England being noted over the Fairford area! Unfortunately for us enthusiasts, none of their movements appear on the tracking sites, however people have heard comms on London Mil south ICF

Hope this info is of use, cheers

Well, no hope of seeing AF1 on that routing. Kind of hoped he might continue to London VOR while they unpack the C-32.

Perhaps the E-4 will come up trumps, I've never seen one of those either, just biden my time perhaps... At least I can see Ockham more easily...

AF1 reappeared somewhere just west of Shannon, assume the E-4 will do so too.

SAM 46 the C-32 is just got his clearance out of Mildenhall, via BKY,…assume to Newquay! Seems that Biden will now take AF1 to Newquay but via a “circuitous” route!….guys on F/C have seen a flight plan filed for AF1 up over Manchester then over Wales before routing into Cornwall….please don’t shoot the messenger on this one!
Grim 99 still apparently coming in from the south….time will tell on that!
